Sunset flight out of Sitka

9 02 2010

We left late in the afternoon, and was able to get an ok shot of Mt Edgecumbe, the extinct volcano just across Sitka Sound, plus a little later some sunset shots of the sun setting out in the Pacific.

A little later, over the southern end of Baranoff Island, the sunset over the Pacific with the mountains in the foreground.

And then as we left the southernmost edge of the island:

Great pics, Ed. Just curious what got you back to Alaska? Money, scenery, lifestyle…what? Combination?

I’m going back to school this year. Change in “work-status” last week pushed the issue home, and now it’s gonna happen. Just spoke with my adviser and the plan is to move full-speed ahead with RN then straight to FNP. I’m actually pretty excited!

Look forward to hearing from you.

Brian,
That is so great that you are going to get your RN. You won’t regret it!
